Q. What inspired you to start writing?
I started writing as a creative outlet when my aunt said I was too old to be playing games. The way just sort of stuck. After a while I went from writing about dogs to writing about vampires and the rest is history!

Q. What are your biggest inspirations?
My biggest inspiration is really reading. Reading and real life. Sometimes I'll be sitting somewhere and think "What if zombies attacked right here and now?" Those random and quite insane thoughts are what fuel my novels.

Q. Who, would you say, is your favorite character?
This is a vague question. I'm guessing that it's "what's your favorite character in fiction?" Overall, I'd have to say Lestat is my favorite, closely tied by Richard and Jean-Claude. I like characters I can closely relate to.
Another way I've gotten this is "Who is your own favorite character?" Which I'm going to assume means of my own work. To be honest, Alexander is and will always be my favorite. Keira comes in a very close second tied there with Christopher. James isn't far behind either. Coming in last, however, is Raven.

Q. How do you prepare to write a story before you sit down and write it?
The first thing that I do when I am going to write anything is research the topic a bit. When I first started to write about zombies, for example, I looked into voodoo and how zombies are "raised". I did not want my zombies to have a Hollywood appeal, I wanted them to be less like rabies infected human beings and more like empty dolls. I bought a few books and did some research on the Internet. You don't have to write what you know, but you should know what you write.
The next thing that I do is assemble a playlist. I take into consideration the theme and location that I'm going to be writing about. Sometimes I write to songs, sometimes it's simply sounds.
After I have set up the playlist I set a secluded atmosphere. I light candles, get a glass of milk or water and some finger food so that I won't have to get up for a while. Once I sit to write I know that I'm going to be at it for hours.
And finally, I sit and sort of daze out at the computer and let a mix of my imagination and my fingers do the rest.

Q. What sort of music do you usually listen to when you write?
That really depends on what I'm writing. If I'm writing about a battle, I'll use quick paced music. If I'm writing about a love scene I'll use something to fit that.

Q. Why is Blood Tainted Dreams: The Hunter listed incorrectly on Amazon.com?
The short of the story is - Amazon.com is being unreasonable. They mixed up the ISBN number for my book and the book by another woman. The books are in no way similar. When contacted they pointed at the woman and said that she was stealing my work, I contacted her, she disagrees and says that if she could fix the problem herself, she would. Neither party admits fault and both refuse to fix the problem. I've considered taking this to an attorney if the problem is not resolved soon.

Q. Are you going to re-release BTD: The Hunter?
No, I now have no intention of re-releasing The Hunter. However, I am rewriting it.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q. When do you plan to re-write BTD: The Hunter?
I am currently in the process of rewriting "The Hunter". No, I do not know when exactly it will be completed, but I'm happy to say that I'm enjoying writing this version much more than the first.

Q. Will you read my work?
That really depends on what it is about and the amount of time that I have on my hands. Get in touch, I make no promises but maybe. I do love to read.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q. Will you exchange links with me?
As long as your site is somehow related to mine (as in you're a fiction author, an artist, something along those lines), of course!
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q. Can you write about my character?
Sorry, but it is very hard for me to write fanfiction let alone about another person's character. I generally avoid writing about anyone's characters but my own.

Q. I have a question that does not appear on the F.A.Q.!
